PENGARUH PRODUK DAN HARGA TERDAPAT MINAT SISWA SISWA SMK WIDYA 4 BATAM

This study aims to determine the influence of Product (X1) and Price (X2) on Students’ Interest (Y) in choosing SMK Widya 4 Batam. The approach used is quantitative, employing the multiple linear regression method to measure the relationship between independent and dependent variables through statistical analysis. The t-test results indicate that Product (X1) has a t-value of 0.143, which is smaller than the t-table value of 2.020, with a significance level of 0.294, greater than 0.05. Meanwhile, Price (X2) has a t-value of 0.026, lower than the t-table value of 2.020, with a significance level of 0.015, also exceeding 0.05. Based on these findings, both variables do not have a significant effect on Students’ Interest (Y). In the F-test, the significance value obtained is 0.044, smaller than 0.05, while F-value (3.220) is greater than F-table value (3.381). Despite the significance, the analysis confirms that Product and Price do not have a meaningful impact on Students’ Interest when considered simultaneously. Additionally, the Adjusted R Square value of 0.098 indicates that independent variables explain only 9.8% of the variation in the dependent variable, while 90.2% is influenced by other factors not included in the research model.
