Abstract

his study analyzes the influence of compensation and training on teacher performance at Mandiri School Batam, using a quantitative approach and a census sampling method involving 30 respondents. The results of tests conducted with SPSS 27 indicate that compensation does not have a significant effect on teacher performance (Approx Sig. 0.451 > 0.05), whereas training shows a significant influence (Approx Sig. 0.000 < 0.05). Training has been proven to enhance teacher productivity and achievement, thereby positively impacting the quality of education. Furthermore, compensation and training simultaneously have a significant effect on teacher performance (Sig. F Change 0.000 < 0.05). In conclusion, training is a crucial factor in improving teacher performance and the quality of learning. Therefore, schools should pay special attention to the development of continuous training programs to support the professionalism of educators.
