Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the registration information system for making Identity Cards (KTP) and Family Cards (KK) at the Batu Ampar Sub-District Office, as well as its impact on community satisfaction and perceptions. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of this information system had a significant positive impact on community satisfaction. The process of making KTP and KK has become more efficient with an average completion time of only 5 working days, which is a significant improvement compared to the previous manual system that took up to 2 weeks. In addition, the new system also improved the transparency of the process, with 70% of respondents expressing that they felt more transparent in terms of requirements, fees, and processing time. The ability to track the status of applications in real-time has reduced uncertainty and the potential for non-transparent practices. This research shows that the implementation of information systems can improve the efficiency and transparency of public services, as well as increase overall public satisfaction.
